Greve Mosede Fort

If history is your thing, then Mosede Fort is just for you. Here you will be able to learn more about the First World War.

They were finished building the fort in 1916 and it was built with the intentions of protecting Copenhagen during the First World War. After the end of the war and before the beginning of the Second World War, the fort was used for military exercises. It was used up until 1970 before it was eventually made open to the public.

You can go on a journey back in time with the help of the impressive exhibition which includes photos, films, lights and sounds.

Mosede Fort also offers activities and events for both children and adults throughout the year.It’s possible to receive half an hour of introduction to the exhibitions at the museum – this is included in the entrance fee.

Greve Museum

There is a lot of cultural history to experience at Greve Museum. There are two permanent exhibitions and several special exhibitions throughout the year.

The museum focuses in particular on life in the suburbs in the 20th century as well as the living conditions of the Hedebo region from around the 1800 to the early 1900s.

They also offer lectures, guided tours as well as different activities and events every month.

If you’re looking for a cup of coffee, a homemade piece of cake or just a place to rest your feet, then make sure to visit the museum café.

Mosede Harbour

Havnevej, 2670 Greve

If the Danish weather permits, you can spend the afternoon or perhaps the evening taking a stroll up and down the harbour. Have a look at all of the boats or see if you can find any fish in the docks.

Not far from there you will find the beautiful Mosede Beach which has a newly renovated boardwalk. However, the kiosk on the boardwalk is only open during the summer season which is from May to late August.

When you are looking for a place to eat, you can get an exquisite gastronomical experience at Restaurant Det Gamle Roegeri. It has received two stars from a respected Danish dining guide in 2015, so you are guaranteed food of the highest quality.

You can also try Jenners Seaside restaurant which offers a big variety of fish from the Danish waters. Besides that, you’ll have a wonderful view to the ocean as well as the coastline.

The food is inspired by the seasons, but don’t worry if you are not a big fan of fish: there is something for everyone at Jenners Seaside Restaurant.

Hedeland Recreational Resort

If you are an active person who loves the outdoors, then you need to check out Hedeland Recreational Resort. And it’s located only 400 meters away from B&B Hotel Albertine.

The scenic area consists of 100 kilometres long paths and trails that are perfect if you’re looking to go for a run or a walk.

But not only that, you’re also able to find playgrounds, fishing ponds and outdoors fitness equipment just to mention a few.

If you want to have your lunch or your dinner out in the open there are plenty of areas where you can have a barbeque. There are tables and benches as well. These places are free to use as you please.
